This is kindof random but I cannot believe how useful iPhoto is for organizing stock imagery! It is simply incredbile, just import and search. Wow.

iPhoto does indeed rock, and best of all, it is free!

yeah it is, dog slow. I threw my photo library of a fwe thousand pictures into it and watched it just choke. Cool software though, for now I'll just do it the hard way.... by memory.

The slowness of iPhoto is because it deals with imagery in real time, which slows the hell out of it, but it is so useful for me even on my relatively slow machine, I don't care

Hey.

Does iPhoto import in keywords/data, like from tab-delimmed text/spreadsheet? Like Portfolio does? If so, ummm... Wow!

My digital camera (Agfa) uses a proprietary .JPG format that isn't compatable with iPhoto...so I use GraphicConverter. Doesn't have the cataloguing features but a hell of a lot friendlier (and faster) than iPhoto.
