Hi,

Can anyone give me a link or tips on how to improve the quality of an old B&W photo. In Photoshop 6 I can improve it somewhat, but I am just guessing on what I am doing. I would like to get more information on how to do this.

For example a site that has a before and after photo, and instructions on how it was done.

levels, brightness/contrast, but its kind of hard to figure out what you mean by 'improved quality'. Specifics?

Basically the picture is dark. Plying with the adjustments in Photoshop inprove that, but I want to find ways to make it even better. A few tips may just be all I need to do that.

Here is a site that I find to have good tutorials on it. I don't know about your specific tutorial, but they have excellent content.
