Many of you may be curious to see some work I've done at work in the past. Anyway at my last place of work I learned the "art" of merging data from a database into a Quark template to produce forms like this.......



These forms were not my design, but I did have to copy the entire layout when they switched over from an older system to the Macintosh and new merging software that was actually Mac compatable. This basically meant lots of copying and measuriung and re-designing templates to merge into.

Anyway the above example is a "Clinique Spring 2002" cosmetics order form which the store clerks use to replenish stock. The above example is just 1/4 of a single page of a 6 page form. Ugly at first glance, but having worked on these (that was practically my speciality at my last job) I also found them beautiful in thier own way.
