I'm new to this whole forum thing. MacNN is the only one I'm on. And where I enjoy this section, it seems a little quiet. Anyone know of a Design specific forum with a larger community of Designers?

I would really like to take advantage of the forum resource. There is much knowledge to be gained by frequenting them.

just warning you...graphic design forums have no community

none. it's a very visual media to talk of, so it's much harder to have a decent message board that even comes close to macnn. the graphic design forums at macaddict (where i used to post) were ok but people are way too flamey

I like Newstoday about 50/50 signal to noise ratio, has some remotely entertaining discussion sometimes. Great for getting questions answered within minutes. Constantly updated news section and the editors (some) have decent taste. Warning: you'll learn to filter out the annoying 13 year old incendiary devices quickly, I swear.

go to www.macdesignonline.com Their forums are located on the middle-left of their web site. Very helpful people; occasionaly they will even help out a graphic person using a PC. Must be pity....

depends if you're looking for graphic design or graphic art.
if it's art, then go for the sijun forums.
