Check out the new MacAddict CD? Comes with Maya PLE. Won't install on my PowerBook g4 667 DVI with OS 10.1.5.

I only have 256 RAM...but I can't even get it to install...i have to force quit everytime.

any luck for others?

No sory. As far as I know Maya is incompatible with OS X 10.1.4 upwards.

That is, the installer. The program still works fine, but cou cant install it.

If you go to the support-Boards at the Alias WaveFront site and have a look, you should easily find the posings clarifying this.

I installed Maya PLE off of the MacAddict CD. I've got an iMac running 10.1.5.

I downloaded Maya PLE and installed it on 10.1.5, it works fine for me (I think you really need the 512 mb to get it working), but I already sudo'ed it away because of that stupid watermark stuff, there is a bug with the UNinstaller in 10.1.4 and higher to knowledge. Installing should be no problem.
