Flash MX runs considerably slow on my G3 laptop!! What a disappointment. I knew Flash runs much faster on Windows but never had its performance bothered me so much when was in Flash 5... Every action is noticeably slow to respond. I even tried on G4 DT at school and found slow... Flash's been around quite a while and why the hell Macromedia can't get it to run on Macs as fast as on Windows machines... It's like IE'll never run on Mac as fast as on Windows... Get real Macromedia and stop shortchargin Mac users!

It seemed OK on my tower... NOT great, but fast enough...

I don't think Macromedia can do much more. Apple needs to speed up the system on their end a bit...

At least it doesn't ever crash...

<snicker> flash doesn't crash? Thats a hoot. At least it doesn't freeze the entire system you mean? Flash MX is bearably slow on my DPG4 but I think the remaining slowness is on apples OSX end, but I wont start that argument in this forum. I am, however, very pleased with the frame rates the latest shockwave and flash plugins are giving me, not nearly as good as a PC, but better. What peeves me off in Flash MX however isn't the speed but the lack of updates on some of the pallets, namely the actions pallet and sometimes even the damn workspace. Grr, drives me up a wall.

It's slow here too, on a 400MHz G4. Not the fastest I know, but PS7 is bearable compared to this.
