Anybody have an easy way to do something similar to the pict below? I've been using brushes for this effect on some things(like below) and another very effective, but long, process involving printing/copying/manual "distressing" /scanning/tracing. I can't get find a good combo of filters to effectively reproduce these effects.

I have no problem continueing doing this my current way. But it would be nice to cut some time off the project as this seems to be a common request for some reason.
TIA
Brian

I'll save ya the trouble, it'll look alot like ****e. try using paint on the finger tips and filling an entire sheet of paper and scanning that bad boy in, then just use it when you need to. I have a large archive of "random distressing" stuff that I overlay in when needed. paint splatters, fingerprints, contact sheets, dip pen splats, sliced up typefaces scanned in by letter, etc etc. its very helpful. overlaying clouds using dissolve layer effect works, but not too well.
