Hi,

Is there a shareware utility out there that can make a thumbnail image from a full size file? I need to make a bunch of thumbnail images for my online store, thanks.

I normally just use the batch feature in Photoshop...
or, you could even thrown them into iphoto and export a web page, that will automatically create thumbs for you as well.

I am sure there are 15,234 other ways of going it also.

Many options are available:
(1) You can use iPhoto
(2) ImageMagick can do it through the command line
(3) You can also find applications that do that on versiontracker.com
