Hi, I am a teacher and I found a cool free font web site but the fonts are Windows fonts. I have the program TTConverter 1.5 which works great, but some fonts want to save with blank names. I type the name of the font in, which works fine and it converts the font to a suite case. Here is the problem, when you look in the suite case, the font name is blank. Is there anyway to rename the font? I have tried everything I can think of but it won't let me rename the font (inside the suitecase). Thanks in advance for your help!

With TTConverter what you need to do is rename the font in the main window like you're doing but there is ONE additional step you're skipping. In the Convert Window there is a button labeled "Customize FOND" Click it. You then need to type in the Font name in the two Feilds marked "Font Name" and "PS Name". Don't bother changing anything else.

Um, just for the hell of it. Lots of those free web sites are actually distributing copyright protected fonts, and many of them have been converted from Mac PostScript to PC TrueType.
One thing to bear in mind, if you get a read me with the font, that states who the author was, then there's a fairly good chance it's legitimate shareware/freeware, if there's no read me, then there's a good chance that it's pirated.
Though lots of people take other people's shareware, freeware or commercial fonts and claim that they are the author, and even try to collect fees based on such claims.
