The European Union flag, blue with the circle of yellow stars, is a bit lame..Anybody care for a re-design?

Let see, A circle of stars on a blue background. Hmmmmm.
How about adding some red and white stripes. Then as more nations join the EU you can add the appropriate number of stars but keep the same number of stripes to represent the original nations.
No you're right that does sound kind of lame.

slightly more serious:
apparently there are 15 members (15 stars)
and they have 3 pillars of...something or other (3 stripes)
the circle thing in the middle.....has no explanation. i figured something should go there. although the single large star could symbolize unity. or cheese. lots of cheese.

What happened to the pin-up? Did you remove it itomato? Or has it been censored.
I really liked it, can I post it again?
 Just ask mods to remove if you don't want it.Oh I see you are one yourself :o ..
Also like the other entries, it's more difficult then I expected. For some reason there will always be only 12 stars, no matter how many countries joined. ( some holy number I guess)
