I like subtle photoshop the best.

Uhm, used some gaussian blur to create a soft focus look, burn and dodge to clear up your bad lighting ( no offence) and left the in-focus area colorized (I have a soft spot for partial/full black and white )

Damn nice Very subtle indeed.

Badly lighted indeed. These are just frame-grabs from my DV-camera, which no matter how good can't weigh up for poor lightning.

I tried to burn and dodge a bit on the original, but it was still very bad.

I hope you don't mind this in these challenges though, as I think it just makes them more challenging

Another break from work resulted in a little blur here, some more dodging there, some noise here, and a little overlay (from my insanely large image archive) there.

Very nice... wish there was some way of getting it to a 1600x1200 desktop picture without losing too much quality though...
