I'm trying to post a picture but it isn't showing up.

I've scanned the picture and used Photoshop to save for web.
I have an Image_2.gif icon which I've copied to my iDisk Pictures folder. I've then used the following UBB code to make the link:

But obviously I'm doing something wrong as it isn't showing the picture. Can someone help me?

[Edit: added . before Pictures to see if it works with above UBB code.]

I feel your pain. What I do is this:
"http://homepage.mac.com/idjeff1/.Pictures/nameofpic.gif" but put in the img and /img in brackets before and after the url

Of course you would write this without the quotes. I think the secret is in the ".Pictures". As you can see there is a "." before the "Pictures". I don't know why this works, but this is how it worked for me.

Hope this helped

I just tried adding the . (period) before Pictures in the post above and it still isn't working.

I'm now guessing it is something wrong with my iTools mac.com homepage set-up, but I don't know what it is. I've got the image stored in the Pictures folder on my iDisk, and I've also made a copy of this Pictures folder within my Public folder of my mac.com homepage.

I'll try calling Apple help next.

I tried it again (with the . before Pictures) and, as can be seen above, this time it worked!

Thank you idjeff and Demonhood.
