I have bought lightwave 6 when I had my legacy mac and it used an ADB dongle, now I can run 6 and even updated it to 6.5 with this dongle in os9.1 and it runs perfect.
I now tried to use the OSX version of lightwave 6.5 BUT it wont recognise the ADB dongle thus switching the lightwave 6.5 for osx to demo mode.
What can I do to make it run full version in osx?

What kind of error message are you getting when you start up LightWave? Did you install the OS X version with the dongle attached? Is LightWave not detecting the dongle or the license key? You might want to contact Newtek and possibly swap out that ADB dongle for a USB one (if you no longer need to use it for 5.6). LightWave 6.5b works great in OS X and should improve with 10.1.

When I installed the osx version, the classic version was already installed from long ago. How is your setup? Do you use ADB dongle? Are you able to run the full version through osx or just the demo?

Lightwave is my fav app but booting into os9.1 is annoying now that we have osx.

I have a USB dongle. I've heard of problems with people using an ADB dongle with an iMate (ADB - USB) adapter under OS X since there are no drivers yet. There may be problems with ADB dongles under OS X.

You might want to visit the Newtek forums and post your question there. There is a Mac LightWave specific board. Chances are someone there has had your problem and Newtek employees frequent the forums as well.
