I wondered if there was a way to select which photos to import off my camera using OS X, and specifically in iPhoto. The guy at the Apple Store said to use image capture, but I think it was deleted when I installed iPhoto. Thanks.
Don't know about iPhoto (it is a terrible app in a multi-user environment such as mine because it makes duplicates of all your pics for each user -- that's a lot of HD space).
In Image Capture it's quite simple though. There's a button on the tool bar for it.
