What font does apple use in their advertisements? I thought it was either Times or Times New Roman but when I use them they look nothing like what Apple uses... Thanks!

This probably won't help but I was wondering if it could be Lucida Grande? A friend was making an OS X theme for OS 9 and seemed to think that was the one Apple used most...

for the *second* time (use the search function, it works wonders) Apple uses a propriatary version of Garamond called "Apple Garamond" there was a link to it in a previous thread. You can get away with ITC or Adobe Garamond however.

(just tighten up the kerning)

Nick

FYI lucinda grande is the font used for the system in OSX. Charcoal or Chicago are the typical fonts in 9. Advertising font is Garamond

If you want to replicate it exactly, use ITC Garamond Light Condensed. It's exactly the same as Apple Garamond.

I promise you it ain't the same. Just do a comparison with all characters. Apple Garamond looks more elegant. And by the way, it's protected by bit-stream.
