Does anyone have any experience with scanning negatives to use in video? So far my results are mixed and I wonder if I can't get a better image by using my XL-1 to shoot enlarged prints. I have an Epson Perfection 1200 Photo scanner with film transfer adaption. I can't seem to find the right settings to use for video as the final product. While we're on it: How good is the faux pan and zoom in FCP or Adobe After Effects? Shouold I stay optical lens and shoot these photos or use the scanner and computer to do digital work?
