whats up I tring to make a template that will come up in illustrator as a default on opeing the app. title safe and action safe. but i can't get the setting right does anyone have one, or the setting to put into illustrator to make that happen. or where I can find one on the web. that would be great.

Inside the plug-ins folder in the applications folder are two files (ver 9) Adobe Illustrator Startup_CMYK and Adobe Illustrator Startup_RGB.

To create your own prefs save the file with the settings (page size etc) with the exact same name as these files.

Illustrator will use that as the default template.
