Think you might need to explain the rules/setup so that everyone understands.
I vote for it to happen on here. I guess we'd have to designate who got each part (otherwise multiple people would add to a single layer).
Time limited? Or should we just decide when it's done?

Ahh, pardon me, where are my manners?
Photoshop battles and or Photoshop Tennis works like this:
You have two designers/illustrators.
One, "volleys" by submitting a starting photoshop image.
The next person takes the image and "messes" with it in their style,
the original person takes that image and "messes" with it in their style,
etc etc until it is "done". Very vague, I know. The winner is determined by an outside moderator. Its always a good time. now, more than two person photoshop tennis I *think* could work by a few people (say 4) agreeing to simply pass the image down the line one after another, posting the results as they went along...
Someone who is a little more sober than I am could probably explain this a little better....sorry
Nick

I like the 'Challenge' idea... like Erik's Dreamgirl challenge...
everyone gets to show their take on an image, and what they'd do to mess it up
if there's more than 2 people (or 4 for 'doubles'), wouldn't it no longer be tennis? say, volleyball? or water polo?

Here's the rules, and examples:

And even though I think it's a cool idea, I laughed out loud when I saw this on another board discussing it:

i'd enter, but i think this would be better with layered PSD files. that way i'm not forced to use 100% of what someone adds to an image (like Mike's "HUH" text over the whole image, for example. no offense Mike).
we could better edit the image, be more creative, with layers. of course, we'd have to make sure everyone had PS 6 if we used any 6 specific features, but that's easy enough.

Thats *why* I started with an attatchment to a PSD, but I guess no one caught on...
So you wanna start that text across the entire frame shi+ HUH!!!!! Well....

Lol, yeah, lovely call with the "Huh?" text
I've only got PShop 5 here... and I myself use FireWorks much more (and it opens up PShop files fine, too... not 100% sure about 6, but at least 5 it works fine with) .
And yeah, I had seen the original .psd file, but since the others disregarded it I just went with the flow.
"And if everyone jumped off a cliff, you would too?"
Well, depends how tall of a cliff, whether it was on MacNN or not, etc.
So... start a new thread and have a new image?

I think as long as Pshop users "render" their type layers and save as PSD 5, everything should be fine... I'm willing to let this one die, its getting rediculous Someone want to start a new thread with a new image, or should I dig something up?
