What is the best solution to manage fonts in a Design company that has mixed X and Classic apps and 9 & X OS.

Will Adobe deliver ATM Deluxe with CCC (Cocoa/Carbon/Classic) compatibility, like Suitcase 10 seems to have?

Is Suitcase X worth a try (and perhaps a buy)?

Thanks for the input

Great questions...

Adobe isn't going to port ATM Deluxe to OSX (this was a big let down)

Use Suitcase. Mac Design gave Suitcase a 4 out of 5 rating (not that I think the pub is great with their reviews, I would give it more like a 3.5 out of 5, but that's just me).

For the cost, it's worth the buy...

I am trying Suitcase 10.1, but it seems that Type 1 fonts make a problem (Jagged) in Carbon Apps (Illustrator X)
I suspect that T1 fonts placed in System Font folders (9 & X) are not anti-aliased by the system neither by Suitcase.
Only T1 that only Suitcase handles work correctly in Carbon Apps.

Am I right?

yeah, it sux0r about ATM. I haven't finished moving all of my fonts over to suitcase yet (I don't particularly like it) so, in classic, I have both ATM *and* suitcase running and in X of course, Suitcase is my only font management solution. Things (amazingly) appear to be working well, no conflicts between the two yet. I'd really like if Suitcase didn't crash on a corrupted font but just told me it was corrupted. I'd also like if Suitcase had a 'delete duplicate fonts' option too. (it might, I might not have found it yet)
