griggsy, i think your content is cool....standard in a sense
but if the website is not just www.yourname.com, then it should be themed accordingly
guinea-pig allows you to go crazy with a scientist motif...rat motif..and etc.
but right now, the layout is nice but i'm like why is it called guinea pig?
godzookie, i dont have the flash 6 plugin yet...i'll be back

Griggsy, I like the site alot, I agree on the name issue as above, but thats really your own perogotive, esp. with personal sites. Lots of content, this is a good thing. Varied content, but it all comes together in some way and I like it alot. I kind of wish the headline titles had some other color aside from the minty green, it becomes a little overbearing after a while. I think (personally) green is a really hard color to pull off doing a monochromatic with, the variations on green just don't create interesting colors imo. Aside from that. I'd also like to see some more guinea pig imagery though. I like the typography and the content and the overall look, they all work well together, and having a sense of humor throughout the site is really nice. Good job.

godzookie,
cool layout...but you need to fix the type in Flash
i believe you're not using dynamic html text, but selectable embedded right?
you need a nice web font. check out fourm.com and see if they're still giving away their free flash 5 fonts

thanks for the feedback TMCW. What *exactly* do you want me to fix with the type? I know there are some parts which could use some opened up kerning, not to mention adding a point size to the body copy across the board, but...

godzookie, sorry its taken me so long to respond, the sites lovely, strong use of imagery and makes me realise how piss poor my site is and it's due for another overhaul (watch this space!), a couple of quibbles: thought the text is quite difficult to read in Omniweb 4.1. Another thing that is because you stretch over the 800*600 standard, having the primary navigation at the bottom of the screen means navigating on the taller pages can be a bit awkward, but hey what do I know, I hve a basset on my site , but otherwise, it's a truly original site and you should be rightly proud, will be tuning in regulary!
