First of all I would like to say that I am new here and what a great place this is to come to!!!

My problem is that I am on mac of course and have loaded Photoshop 6.0 onto my Ibook but imagestyler 1.0 will not open now! Does anyone know what to do to fix this??

Greatly appreciate anyone who can help

when you say it will not open, what does that mean? do you get a error while loading?
have you tried tossing the prefs on imagestyler?

first off, welcome selena second, I agree with corys about trashing the prefs and trying it. if that fails, just delete ImageStyler and re-install to see if that helps.

[edit] Upon further researching, ImageStyler was released way back in '98. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't adobe change the name to ImageReady and start bundling it with Photpshop? I believe they did, there for that is why 1.0 no longer works. Check the Adobe Folder and see if you have ImaegReady 3.0 installed in there along with Photoshop. Enjoy![/edit]

Do you mean image styler, or image ready?

PS6 comes with ImageReady 3.0, so you don't need the old one.

Apologies if image styler is a stand alone, but I can't think of any reason why installing an app should break another app, non-system related.
