Is AutoCAD 2000 or R14 available for Macs?

nope, not to my knowledge... sure as hell wish it was, I'm either going to have to buy a PC in 2 years (architecture intent college student that I am) or hope to God virtualPC starts performing.

I thought that there was a CAD program in the works for the Mac OS X?

There's a bunch of different CAD stuff (check http://www.architosh.com ) but no AutoCAD, and that's pretty much what everyone seems to use.
