Okay, weird situation... My iChat buddylist has been doing this forever. So without further delay, here's the issue...

I will add a buddy to my address book through ichat's buddylist. The name will appear in the buddy list as offline, or sometimes not at all even though it appears in my address book. Then! When the person in question is logged on, it first of all won't show it, secondly when I IM them, as soon as the message sends, my input line disappears.. It's driving me CRAZY! Anyone know if there is a known way to get around this?

Thanks so much.

Hey, yeah, it's happening to my sister's ichat.. She can't view me online. Just me. But other my friends could see me online but not her. She couldn't Im me or see me online.. she've done almost everything like : installing new Ichat, refreshed address book, re-named my screen name and etc. But, still coudln't see me. We did almost everything, trying to solve the problem but couldn't understand why this is happening. I also was thinking maybe it's because ichat A/V is public beta? So, wait until the final release in Panther? That's the question.
