uninstalling OS X 10.3

How do I uninstall OS X 10.3 on my partition.
My hard drive is partitioned into three parts. I accidently installed OS X 10.3 onto the last partition and what I really wanted to do was to update my OS X 10.2.8 to the new operating system. OS X 10.2.8 is on the first partition. I've used the "search" function and I can't find a solution. Any help appreciated!

just blow it away. Select the files -> delete. Or just repartition the bit again.

cd <path to the partition with 10.3 on it>
sudo rm .hidden
sudo rm -r Library
sudo rm -r Network
sudo rm -r System
sudo rm -r Users
sudo rm -r Volumes
sudo rm -r automount
sudo rm -r bin
sudo rm -r cores
sudo rm -r dev
sudo rm etc
sudo rm mach
sudo rm mach.sym
sudo rm mach_kernel
sudo rm -r private
sudo rm -r sbin
sudo rm tmp
sudo rm -r usr
sudo rm var
I think that should do it. You may also want to trash the Applications folder, assuming you didn't already have one on the disk with stuff you want to keep in it.
Obvious disclaimer: You do not want to be booted from the 10.3 partition while you do this.

Yeah, but a big long command line is more prone to getting typos in it. And that's something you don't want with rm...
Also, separating them out lets us use the -r flag only when it's needed. And it's just easier to read this way.

Just use Disk Utility to erase the third partition.

Since he didn't intend to put OS X on that partition, I am assuming he was already using it for something other than OS X, and therefore that it has stuff on it that he doesn't want to erase.

Thanks for all the quick responses! I eventually used the disk utility to erase the third partition containing 10.3. Is it possoble to change the size of the partitions without affecting the contents? I have to increase the size of my first partition as I have only about 2 gigs left.
