I just saw it, installing it while I type. I hope this will improve battery life.

I can't find any info on the Apple's site either. However I don't see any improvement, battery life still remains the same about 2:40 when fully charged, CPU is set to the max and so is brightness

Is that reported time? Or have you actually tried to run down your battery?

Nevermind, that's because my TiBook 667 DVI isn't supported in this update...

I hope this fixes my wonky battery time indicator. It always says "Calculating..." for 'time remaining'. It also goes to sleep suddenly with 85% remaining battery which translates to about 2.0 hours. Some other people in the powerbook forum were having this problem as well. I'll let you all know if it helps.

Edit: Nevermind, it isn't supported for my computer either. It is for 15" AlBooks.

Is it not reasonable to anticipate that our understanding of the human mind would be aided greatly by knowing the purpose for which it was designed?

I just realized that after the update it now shows "100%" when fully charged. It used to only go up to 99% and then it would get the little plug icon.

I could do with this for my elderly PB G4. I have all of these problems but the update isn't for my machine.

Hope there is a new PB in January worth buying.
