How many people think OS X would benefit from an 'Offline Files' feature that would allow users to synchronize files between their desktop and laptop Macs?

I would really like to see an 'Offline Files' feature in Mac OS X, similar to that available in Windows 2000/XP.

I currently use an eMac at home as my primary desktop system, and also use an Acer laptop running Windows 2000 Pro. I use the Windows 'offline files' feature to synchronize the files from my eMac with my laptop. I would like to upgrade my laptop to a 12" PowerBook, but I will really miss this feature.

I have had a look at Apple's iDisk, but I have too many files to synchronize for this to be viable. I have also had a look at some of the third-party synchronization utilities available, but these aren't as easy to use, and in testing I have had some difficulties with them (possibly because they weren't built to play nicely with Windows).

I believe this would be a killer feature in Mac OS X, and one that every laptop user would love.
