Well, not really. However, one thing I've recently noticed in Safari is that clicking on the menu bar will cause the Safari screen to freeze, just like in every OS 9 application and Carbon-based browsers (notably MSIE).

Is this new? I don't remember Safari doing this, at least not prior to Panther.

You're right. I noticed this too. It's a known bug which should hopefully be fixed in the next Safari update (I opened a bug report to Apple a few days after the release of Panther).
