Anyone see their op-ed piece (for lack of a better description) on the page? They're using bs (non-acronym form) and the bit[c]h word while they just go off on Apple and use the full name of some PR lady.

Just insane.

I guess a lot of people love their press passes.
When you were young and your heart was an open book, you used to say "live and let live."
But if this ever changing world, in which we live in, makes you give in and cry, say "live and let die."

Meader, and the rest: pay like everyone else, or stay home.

I found this line very amusing (mosr):

"So let it be said that we don't give a flying @#$% about IDG's press pass policies, because we never intend to visit another Macworld again."

We've read about it, and I think that it is crummy of Apple to do so. but the MOSR article--I was reading it and thinking, 'Whoa! They're off their rocker here.'

I'm not saying they're wrong or right, but this article has to be, in the least, striking. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

[edit: they're/their. propur usage iz gud]

I love this one coming from MOSR <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">.and quite frankly, dear readers, we think that Macworld is boring, redundant, and a waste of traveling money for anyone with significant computer expertise</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">and if MOSR ever thinks they would get a free press pass they are out of their ****ing minds! Look at the title of the site for gods sake! MacOSRumor and from the graphicpower emails...

From MOSR, quoted above:

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">and quite frankly, dear readers, we think that Macworld is boring, redundant, and a waste of traveling money...</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">That can be said for any trade show.

These "op-ed" pieces have been appearing more often at MOSR. Look MOSR d00dz, I go to your site for rumors, not opinion. Don't flatter your egos by envisioning yourselves as some sort of "player." The coffee machine in Apple's accounting office has more pull on the Apple universe than you. You're not journalists; you dig dirt. Go find some and shut up or shut down.

I can't believe anyone still goes to MOSR. It was great during the Jobs takeover with Rhapsody and PowerMac info left and right. But now, why?

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">...and several other items; unfortunately, the ever-friendly LimeWire java-based GNUtella sharing software crashed the machine upon which the update was being compiled, and we didn't plan to catch up on the lost work until after the Fourth </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Geneva, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Suuuuure, Ryan, suuuure.

yeah, that limewire cover is crap.

But I read over at macfixit that they were also denied a press pass. If these folks aren't eligible, then I don't know who is. <img border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" title="" src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" />
