So I got this idea after reading an article on /. about the RIAA losing a DMCA Subpoena Case Against Charter Communications (an ISP): what if there was a website one could check to see if your ISP would rat you out or not? This site could promote good ISPs like Charter, while blacklisting those that give information without a fight. And so I recently bought http://www.blacklistedisp.com. I don't know if there's another site that does the same thing or not, but if there isn't, can you guys give me some input on this idea?

This is not spam btw, I'm seriously looking for input (and as you can see, I've been a MacNN member for a while...)

This is something about avoiding ISP's that turn over your name freely to lawyers for the record companies?

Essentially, it'd be a 'watchdog site' that people could go to for seeing who to give their business to and who to avoid.

I like that idea, it enforces capitalism (if you don't like it, why should you buy it?)
