I hate getting up early in the morning, it feels so wrong and actually isn't too much different than being tortured... for me.

What about you guys? Any early risers? Anybody who *despises* getting up before 8 or 9?

I have to get up at 5am to drive my nephew to work.

I can come back and sleep. Now that I work for myself though, I never seem to sleep. Is that a good thing?

as long as you are doing interesting things instead of sleeping. if you are just working instead of sleeping...that sucks then

I normally get up between 8 - 8:30am. Like to get 8 - 9 hours of sleep a night.

I mostly TRY to get up at 8 or so. But I always seem to hit the snooze button.

Never been a morning person. In my uni daze, tried to schedule classes as late as possible and in my career, have worked for evenings for a majority of time. Even when it's been days, it's been a reasonable time (about 10).

When I work I get up at 7, and I hate it.

When I have class I usually wake up at 9, and I hate that too.

My ideal schedule is waking up at 5pm and staying up till 6am, unfortunately the world does not revovle around that schedule (ever try finding dinner at 2am?).

And that is why Humans invented coffee.

I get up just before 7am on workdays. 9 or later on the weekends. NEVER before 5!

My daughter wakes me up ever morning between 9am-9:30am.

That is perfect for me as I usually go to bed around 1am-1:30am. I work 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Is this a reincarnation of Ankle Brains?
Anyway, I like to sleep till my body says enough... which is normally 71/2 or 8 hours. However, I hate waking up in the morning, 7:30, because it means that I can't stay up later than midnight.

Depends on the day, but I sleep for as many hours as I can, so it depends on when I hit the sack.
