Congrats! I know the job market's tough right now (I'm looking for work myself, without a huge deal of success), so it's good to see people come out ahead. Good luck!

Reggie, Millenium, I know it sounds kind of wierd and dumb, but it sort of gave me some help to ask people to hold their thumbs for me. It sort of gives one the feeling that someone cares. When you guys get interviews, remember to ask the rest of us to hold thumbs. Then, when you walk into the interview you remember one of the people saying something funny and a lot of the tension goes away.

Glad to hear it theolein, congratulations

I'm out of work myself right now, but I admit I'm not rushing into another job out of desperation again. I'm just gonna see how living off the unemployment works-out for a while and maybe take some tax free work for a while. Maybe I'll work on actually building-up a decent portfolio of my artwork while I'm at it. There's just too many personal/household/health issues and things I've neglected over the past 5 yrs because my whole life revolved around my career. The time off will be a much needed mental health break.

Because they will.

The job market is lously for tech people these days. I am so happy that I will not be in an internet company again. I am so sick of coke sniffing, idiotic, clueless IT managers with big mouths and no brains. This whole Worldcom debacle etc is because of managers who thought that just by talking big they could get away with everything.

Tja, the disclaimer got put up a few days ago in response to some of the more idiotic replies to my spacepen/NASA/Russians sig. I got really tired of telling people that it wasn't meant to be taken literaly and thus came the disclaimer. I sought of thought it actually applies well to all sigs, so I left it up. Hope you weren't insulted.

And thanks again again to all the bodily appendage holders for holding those bodily appendages! I feel years younger without the stress of wondering how I'm gonna survive.

Great news, Theo!! Congrats
Sounds like a nice fit for you.

Thx guys!

Theolin :
