VW Bora wins?? Ahead of the VW new Beatle? And the StreetKa - is that going to be released in the US? That is a very gay car, I can't imagine a man anywhere buying one.

Miata.

But then again... if Click and Clack say it, it MUST be true. Jetta it is.

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

Most of my gay friends drive BIG honkin guzzlemobiles. Mid seventies/ early eighties caddys. Actually, three gay friends drive Miatas. Nope. 4.

Before that, it was Fieros. Heh. The deathtraps.

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

That's like really gay.

The PT Cruiser didn't make the list? Always struck me as a pretty serious mo'mobile...

Except (ironically enough) when they have the hot-rod flames on the side, that's just silly.

There is no way the Jetta is gayer than the Beetle. Do straight men even buy Beetles? (And if they do, do they use the bud vase?)

Every lesbian I have ever known either owns or has owned a Toyota Corolla. Although here in Northampton, which a tabloid once called "the strange town where men aren't wanted," it's definitely all about Subaru and Volvo wagons.

Whoa, lighten up man! I seriously can't imagine a straight man buying this. What about that do you not understand? Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with gays! Doesn't mean all gays would love this car either. It's a very girlie car. Many gays are more feminine and therefore logically less masculine than straight men. Got a problem with that? Bite me.

Anyways, I don't agree with the BMW 3 Series on the list. I can't say I've ever seen a gay guy driving around in a M3. I'll give u the convertible model, though.

Gays wouldn't be seen dead in neons, hyundais or daewoos - you have to hand in your card if you're even seen as a passenger in one of these $hit boxes.

Most of my gay friends drive BMW 3 series convertibles or Mercs. I guess its part of the DINKs syndrome.

And Willed - I wouldn't bite you if you were covered in chocolate sauce. I'd let a couple of dobermans do it for me

The fact that you equate roll bars to the Audi TT shows how truly pathetic and shallow your knowledge of the automotive realm is.

And the fact that you chose to respond to that with this comment shows how truly pathetic and shallow your sex life is.

Could you have conceivably made your point without insult, perhaps not being the total prick?

The problem is that in your post above, you managed to drop the "straight" part of "straight man". As in, "I can't imagine a man anywhere buying one."

So bite me.

Actually, willed, gays aren't necessarily "feminine". Even scientists who've done studes found that -- surprise! -- two guys who get together tend to exhibit masculine behavior.

Not all gays are femme (nor all dykes butch). Hence why, on gay personals sites, one of the attributes you can set (and search for) is the butch-femme scale.

"I vacuum clean my Bora every week and try to wax it every month."

"I had a mechanic check out my Bora the other day."

Actually, the TDI models of the Golf and Jetta are more of geek cars; that they happen to have that cute exterior is superfluous to the tinkering you can do. If you're gonna be in Ontario in late August, check out the mods for yourself. Search for 'golf vs. porsche' on your favorite p2p network for some race footage.

IME, it was the Geo Metro; but now it seems that most of my gay friends love the Ford Focus. The Nissan Pulsar was a favorite too.

Mark9939, this Ford StreetKa...

...is the new roadster convertible version of this Ford Ka 3dr hatch...

which has been around in the UK and Europe for something like 4 or 5 years now. It does look a bit like a TT, but the basic car it's based on isn't new.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

I own a red 1984 VW rabbit convertible and I'm a proud heterosexual.

I always thought that real gays are in the navy and drive GMs

My sex life is awesome. I was just in a bad mood yesterday. Sorry. I've been working 2 jobs and only getting about 5-6 hours of sleep, with zero play time. Today I experience more of my awesome sex life and am in a much better mood because of it.

Jeep Wranglers are gay guy cars, there was a programme on in the UK a couple of years ago called 'Queer As Folk', about a bunch of gay guys, one of them drove a Wrangler...On the other hand, Dr Carter in ER drives one too. Gaah, I've disproved my own point again, I hate it when I do that. No, hold on, Carter in ER is the exception that proves the rule, yeah, thats it. (Wooh, that was some smooth back-pedalling there)

It'll be much easier if you just comply.
