Jenna von Oy portrayed Six LeMeure, Blossom's fast-talking, boy-crazy best friend, on the long-running hit series "Blossom." Additionally, she was a series regular on CBS' "Lenny" and has guest starred in "Chicago Hope," "Martin," "Unhappily Ever After," and 7th Heaven. A talented voice-over artist, von Oy gives life to Trinket Malloy, Pepper Ann's precocious nemesis, in the popular Saturday morning cartoon "Disney's Pepper Ann."
Her movie-of-the-week credits include "At Mother's Request," "She Cried No," and "Dying to Belong," with Hilary Swank. At the age of 10, von Oy made her feature film debut in "Born on the Fourth of July" with Tom Cruise.
This past July, von Oy participated in a USO Handshake Tour in the Middle East along with Melissa Joan Hart ("Sabrina") and Bill Bochtrup ("NYPD Blue"). During the tour, von Oy participated in autograph and meet & greet sessions organized as a morale booster for U.S. Troops stationed in the Persian Gulf. She was even made an honorary naval aviator for landing and taking off in a CO2 plane on the U.S.S. Constellation.
A native of Connecticut, von Oy was accepted into the prestigious USC Film School, which she attended for two years. With a career in acting already established, she is pursuing another of her talents – singing. A lover of country music, von Oy regularly travels to Nashville and is currently working on a record demo.

I feel like I've seen Six somewhere before. Almost like she was recycled from some other show or something. Even her name seems familiar.

You're right, she is a total knock off of Seven. Difference is 7 was a cold bitch, 6 is hardcore.

I bought Season One yesterday and watched the firs 2 DVDs. I did because I read that the serie won a prize (Hufo or Nebula, I don't remember).
So far I am pleased. But at this point, I find the serie not so interesting for its story line. It is OK, but the actor interaction is pretty intense and most actors are pretty good (although when the acting is bad, it shows very strongly).
Yet, I have no regret. I am looking forward to see it through and may very well purchase Season 2 in December.
I hope they will stop it soon thought, as I feel they will quickly exploit the ideas around that story, I'd rather see cut short in a blast, than overexploited with repeats (like Start Trek).
And yes, I sleep with Boomer since last night and boy I wish she were real.

WHY!? Season 2 isn't even over yet....it starts back up in January. You'd literally be paying probably 39.00-45.00 for HALF of a season.
Can't wait for January.....Cain's gonna get it

I'd pay CAD$40 (US$34) for sure for the first half of season 2. I paid approx. CAD$50 (US$42) for season 1 plus the movie.
$40 works out to $4 per episode, and the DVD will include the extended version of Pegasus.

Good point. We all sure are wasting a lot of money buying DVD's all the while knowing that it's a totally obsolete format and we are just going to have to buy everything we like again in a couple of years. We'll need 3way combo VCR/DVD/B-R players just to watch our crap. Maybe I'll just skip the Blu-Ray and wait for it's successor. What's next after that?

Amazon.ca is going to be selling (the first half of) Season 2.0 for $41.97 (US$35.40). Just a tad more than I was hoping, but I'll bite.
BTW, for those of you with DirecTV, they're going to be offering Galactica on demand for 99¢ a shot.
" NBC Universal struck a deal with DirecTV to allow viewers to pay to watch and download reruns of its shows hours after they air, including SCI FI Channel's Battlestar Galactica.
NBC will charge 99 cents per episode to access such series as Surface. The news coincides with a similar announcement from CBS and Comcast and follows a widely reported deal between ABC and Apple's iPod."

The entire ensemble cast returns for the new season, including Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Tricia Helfer and Grace Park. Also returning are executive producer and writer Ronald D. Moore and executive producer David Eick.

Something I got to thinking over today at work (aside from Star Trek)
Does anyone think that there is enough unanwsered questions and plot holes in Galactica that could warrant a prequel after this series is finished? Something like "Battlestar Galactica: The Cylon Wars" or something....where we see like a whole fleet of Battlestars in action and what the other 11 colonies/planets look like.

nah, I think it works better to leave the 11 colonies up to the imagination of the audience. If we started getting into al the specifics it would just be even more confusing. I think the show is doing just fine where it is.

...maaaaaayybe
But only after everything is settled in the series. Just as the fans are ready to move on, hook them back in with the prequel.

or maybe a series about their adventures on Earth! :-] I know the first attempt was panned by most, but I liked it and it contained the most realistic moment I've ever seen on TV. A cop took Apollo's blaster and said 'what the heck is this' and pulled the trigger an blew the top off a tree across the street. Just the looks on everyone's faces were so believeable. Exactly what you'd see if it really happened I thought. I'd sure like to see that scene again 25 years later.

Prequels are fine but I'd like to see some episodes with more focus around some of the "lesser" characters. For instance, in the deleted scenes for Season 1, there is one about Billy acting as a new press secretary for the prez. Seemed like an interesting direction for his character to go.
Oh and I was intrigued by another deleted scene where Six says she'd join in if Balter managed to bed Starbuck.
P.S. For the Canadians, it seems Amazon/HMV is still the cheapest so far for Season 2 at $42 (with free shipping). Future Shop is $47, and Best Buy is $58 (which is stupid since Best Buy owns Future Shop). The latter two may drop prices to come in line with Amazon, but it's easier just to order it for the cheapest rate and forget about it. Last time I ordered from Amazon/HMV, the discs arrived the day of the release.
