You can get it imported...
But its just not the same :-( (or so I am told).
I have only ever tried imported German beer (its pretty cheap here cause nobody buys the stuff.)
My Plant Phys professor (he is really funny guy Dr Kelly at QUT...) he says that they export a different type of beer to over seas. Thats not cool.

It's true GlobalNomad, just like the beer Australia exports which nobody down there would ever consider drinking (I know this pretty well cause I have a good friend down under), Germnany also exports stuff that nobody over here would ever consider even buying.
Mostly it's either the Bavarian Löwenbräu or some other crap like Warsteiner, etc. However, there's a whacky thought: You send me 20 bucks worth of good, Australian beer and I send you 20 bucks worth of amazing, German beer And if anybody from the US is interested, same deal yet this time, I want 20 bucks worth of Diet Coke (cause we ain't gettin' any in Germany).

Oh man, Coca Cola Light is SOOO much crappier than Diet Coke. For some reason, it tastes totally different. Where Cola Light sucks ass, Diet Coke is quite nice. Infact, it's my favorite Coke and I _really_ miss it over here.
