Yes, it's a silver iPod mini... dang is this thing nice, I'd always heard about how awesome iPods were, but never could justify spending that much money when I didn't need it for anything... well now that I'm going to the gym all the time it just makes sense, not to mention... who could resist it's alluring silver charm.
I probably would have gotten green if a friend didn't already have it... and we already have 12 inch PowerBooks, (granted mine is faster) so I decided on Silver, that said I almost bought a blue one when I saw it on display... dang it looked cool.
I'll post a few of the pics I took... maybe... but... dang this thing is sweet. I had it on at a youth event I was helping out at, when I couldn't hear people I just scrolled, I had ambient music in my head the whole time... it was awesome. In Canada iPods aren't that big, but I still had one kid who I don't even know (this is only my second time helping out) say "Hey, iPod, sweet."
Anyway, but yes I have named him Jeremiah, I have synced my Address book, calendars, music, and all that... dang I love this thing. And I have to say this is well designed! The firewire to wall adaptor is really slick, although I'm surprised they don't have an extension cable in the box like the Laptop bricks come with. I might have to just use one of my dad's many small extension cords (I only have two outlits in my room and a LOT of electronics stuff).
Now all that's left to maybe some day buy is a Palm though I don't think I will.
But this is awesome... I love my iPod... I think I might get a dock but... either way this is flipping awesome.

I should bîtch-slap you for buying a mini. Don't you know that its WAAAAAAY more expensive than the normal one? Looks gayer? Is pathetically tiny?

btw, congrats on the silver mini. i wanted a silver mini .. but couldnt justify the price per gb, so i have a 15gb ipod (which i got after 4g was announced for 250 (plus 50 bux gift certificate) making it a 200 dollar ipod .. sweeeet ....
i still want a silver ... cant wait til they cram a huge harddrive in one of those things (when they come out)

That's awesome! Congrats dude!
I've had my 3G iPod for a little over a year, and I use it all the time. Almost everywhere I go, my iPod goes with me. It's such a great little device.
Have fun!
