Firstly, the news that Sony will start supporting MP3 on their portable audio products
Engadget

And now rumours they will have movie downloads that you can actually keep (in stead of rent)

AND they're ditching CD copy protection!

Looks like Sony are finally realising what consumers want.

i wouldnt make light of it .. i think it means more competition for apple

you forgot to mention that sony will release those "ipod killers" in multiple colors too
