If it is such a big abomination, and he can't stand the place, why did he buy it?
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

Yeah it's free, you just have to pay for moving it to a new location.

Im sure he thought it was neato when he 1st bought it. That is until he was faced with the never ending repairs and maintenance associated with ancient real estate.

I don't blame him. I hate old houses too. If the arty farties in Cali think its so historic, then they need to all chip in and have it moved. If it was me, I would have accidentally drove a bull dozer through it by now

The thing is that a lot and I mean A LOT of newer houses have far more problems than older houses.

Location, location, location...

He also thought if he took the doors off and windows out that the thing would fall apart. It hasn't and it's made the community mad. Now he is offering it up for free... so when he destroys it, he can say "Well, apparently nobody wanted to save it"

He has a BILLION plus dollars. If he wanted that house "saved" it would be saved. This is just spin.

I say knock it down if the community can't afford to save it...

If Stevo would be allowed to do that, he'd actually be glad to even pay for it...

Apparently he bought the house BECAUSE he hated it. His whole intention was to destroy it somehow -- I suppose the giveaway was forced by some historical society or something.
