Am curious how much do this Sport Illustrated cover of Mickey Mantle will cost today?

This magazine was released in August 21, 1995. I have several copies of 'em.

And, I'm expecting ManofSteal to answer first.

maybe 5% above face value. There were millions in print and its only been 9 years, the value should not appreciate that much.

i have a poster of a lithograph (does that make sense?) of Mickey Mantle, and it's signed.. I saw him sign it, around 1991 or so. Should I sit on it? not literally of course.

Unless you're trying to get quick drug money, I'd wait. These things only go up in value as time goes on. Or you can pass it down to your baseball loving grandson and he'll cherish it for his whole life.

Not me, I'm trying to get more money for my wedding coming up in 2005.

I dunno but I'd give you $10 for one. The Mick was my boyhood idol, still is. I think I might have that issue but I'm not sure.

It's hard to say what the value of it will be. Unless it was authenticated by a reputable service or yu have a picture of him signing it, the value will be much less, due to all the counterfeiting with sports autographs. You might be able to get an expert appraise it, but the cost of doing that may be as much as the litho itself.
