You seem afraid to really care for her, or having a hard time distinguishing between caring for someone and taking responsibillity for their happiness.

Biggest mistake I ever made -- long-term relationship at 23. 31 and about to celebrate 1 year (marriage) anniversary (not to the same girl).

I don't doubt your angst, Samurai guy, it can be very real no matter the age. Hell, I'm in my mid 30's and still feel like I haven't got my sh!t together enough to settle down. Problem is, ya never know what comes your way. I'm happily married with 5 kids, 3 of which are named after books of The Bible, so my life's a living torment just for that reason

Just yanking yer chain, I'm happy.

The beauty of it is, just take it as it comes, know that you'll get those moments of uter despair combined with times of beauty and all the bits in between. Some people go to opposite extremes of emotions, from feeling nothing, to being a mess at the first sign of rejection. Find a happy medium, and you will in time, I hope.

Girls come and go Samaurai man, especially at our age. What you should really focus on is having a strong group of friends who can support you, and when things get rough, kick back and have a beer and a bowl with.

Only time will tell if you two grow on each other, but what always saves my ass from women-induced depression is hanging out with the guys. If worst comes to worse they'll always be there to keep you from drowning in your vommit.

Me too, I wish I wouldnt have wasted my time when I was young with her. now I have a great wife and I'm 34. We've been married for 2.5 years. First time for both of us thank God

I think my problem is that i feel I dont deserve pleasure. Guilt always fallows a happy moment with a woman. Im 21 yes, but i sometimes feel, actually more often than not, that my intensity in passion is overwhelming. I just want to strive for the happiness that comes with feeling that im worth it, and that I deserve it. Everyone around me tells me to have FUN and enjoy myself. But its hard for me to do so... plus Im way to young to commit sepuku.

Ok so im gonna post where im at throughout this whole thing. Its like 11:30, and i need to get to sleep now cause i got a whole night of tattooing tomorrow that ill need my energy for, but for some reason i miss this girl... We have only hung out about 4 or 5 times, and it has gone very fast if you catch my drift... should prob slow down a little, but its hard once you have already done the deed together... ill sleep on it, and see how much of a wreck i am tomorrow. Nervous about the tattoo as always... but the end result shall be fabulous.
