I noticed this today, and I don't know if it's just me or not. I'll load a new page or tab, and sometimes I'll get a beachball for about 2-3 seconds, and then it's fine. I had a feeling it was particular ads, but I don't know. Anyone else experiencing this? I never had before.

MacNN spends a seemingly inordinate amount of time loading for me ... on my fast DSL connection. Also, I keep getting this on my windoze box (win 2K):
filename: vc-720.js
type: jscript script file
from: www4.macnn.com
What's that all about?

I get the beachball a lot when opening threads. I haven't tried other browsers to see if this happens outside of Safari. I don't know why this is happening, but I do know it started recently (within the last week or two).

I've been getting more and more beachballs with Safari as the time goes by. Back then when it came out, almost none. Now it's almost epedemic. Suxx.
I guess my old iBook is trying to tell me something...

It has been happening more now. It must be some javascript.
