Everyone seems who reviews other MP3 Players keep calling each new one that comes out the "iPod Killer" One of the reasons the iPod is still doing well other than the already know reasons is because of accessories. It's tough to find any accessories for ANY of the other Players on the market. It seems like a new holder, gadget or other thing comes out for the iPod almost every week. you never hear anything about accessorise for other players, I think that is another reason why the iPod will keep doing well. because people like Accessories and the iPod is pretty much these days a fashion statement.

As soon as a company calls its product and "iPod killer" people go buy another iPod as they are reminded of how good it is.

It's the law of momentum.

With the iPod, Apple has for once what usually only belonged to the Wintel party.

Good for them

The software is easily overlooked. iTunes is the single best software for transferring music to a device out there. All of the other companies offer half-assed solutions.

People will buy the device, and quickly find this out.
Dual 1 ghz MDD with 80 gig and 1.25 DDR
17' Flat Panel Studio Display

That's very true as well.
