William Shatner has a new album.

I wonder if this has a reprise of Tambourine Man.

I want this.

1. Wm. Shatner is now retro-cool.
2. Ben Folds has always, and continues to kick major ass.

Even Esquire magazine gives it a big thumbs up.

Who doesn't like William Shatner? Seriously?

He's part of the American pop culture landscape.

His Priceline commercials are very amusing and he is always self-deprecating and willing to let people satirize him.

Look at him in Brad Paisley's video, you know? He pretended to be one of three American Idol judges, appearing as an unshaven has-been judge -- like the rest of the current has-been American Idol judges.

He's cool.

While some consider the guitar Paisley’s biggest asset, others point to his wide-ranging influences. Mud on the Tires is a classic example, containing a mix of traditional country sounds with hints of bluegrass, Western swing and country-pop.

The album’s first hit came last year when Celebrity, a sarcastic take on the current state of “reality” entertainment, shot to No. 3 on the charts. Likewise, the video, which included a cameo by William Shatner, became a huge fan favorite as well.

Of Shatner, who will forever be linked to his Star Trek turn as Capt. James T. Kirk, Paisley issued nothing but praise.

“He has the best sense of humor,” Paisley said. “He’s never really serious, and that’s what’s so cool about him. He’s such a legendary figure, but he’s a really neat guy too.”

Ooooh, big internet troll, go start your own thread. Or better yet, just leave as you obviously don't have anything useful to contribute.

William Shatner is great as a lawyer on "Boston Legal."

Is that right? Cool!

Now, fiend did have a valid point, not to step on anyone's toes...

The death of his late wife found dead in the swimming pool was somewhat suspicious:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The wife of actor William Shatner was found dead in the swimming pool of their North Hollywood home, Los Angeles police said early on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department said Shatner had arrived at his home at about 10 p.m. PDT on Monday night (1 a.m. ET) and found his wife, Nerine Kidd, unconscious in the swimming pool.

``He pulled her from the pool and called 911. He listened to the 911 operator's instructions and tried to perform CPR but he was unsuccessful,'' the spokesman, who identified himself as Officer Rhone, said in a telephone interview.

``The paramedics arrived at the scene and she was pronounced dead,'' he said. Rhone said there was no further information about the death and that an investigation was ongoing.

Shatner, 68, is best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk in the 1960s ``Star Trek'' television series.

Kidd, 40, was Shatner's third wife.

Only his third wife?

She was home alone and drinking and swimming?

Apparently the two of them had had marital problems?

I say it again:

But, I like Captain T. Kirk anyway.

Yeah, it's cool when your wife dies.

No, he didn't. He was trying to get a reaction with a juvenile comment. He was trolling.

xi: I think it's cool that he's Canadian.

What's wrong with that?

Sorry, I misunderstood. The quote in your reply was about his wife's death.

Who heard him plugging this on Howard Stern. Arty kept making fun of the CD saying "it's like being at a Ben Fold's concert with William Shatner and he just wont shut up" then when they were playing the songs Arty would scream "Alright thats great Will, but I'm trying to listen to Ben Fold's". I realize how this is a really lame post but if you heard it you know what I'm talking about, it was hiiiiiiilarious.
