I watched it because the first part looked like the show had something going for it. All it did was keep me next to the TV watching terrible commericals and looking at the clock. God it was bad. Feel free to voice your utter disgust with this sad excuse for televsion in this thread.

The first ep had me wanting to watch the rest. It definitely wasn't a refined show. But I still liked it. The ending sucked, though.

It just fell appart in the second part, all the structure and style just flew out the window. What the hell was with that bearded "evil" man? The subplots just dragged on and on and made it more uncomfortable to sit through.

Eh, I had a 4400. It was a pretty good machine actually... so long as you had no desire to work inside of it.
To sum up the 4400, I would say it was the machine everybody was afraid the cloners were going to end up making but didn't.

Yes, there were plot points which really didn't make sense. And plot points that were never resolved. And so much more to the story that COULD have been developed into a pretty interesting show. They could have made it a full season of 20+ eps pretty easily, hired some decent writers, and really taken the idea for a cool ride.
I still found it good enough to watch. But by no means would I put it on my favorite show list. It had potential.

Ok. I never watched it, but the premise seemed interesting. Someone please sum it up and spoil the ending for me.

It's us in the future trying to fix their world by influencing the past by giving regular people super powers. The end.

Considering that the thread is about a TV series, I think you ALL need to get out more.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
