it seems all of my photos are huge, and to post them in a forum without it being the size of somes entire screen i have to resize the image.

Currently my only photo editing program i have it iPhoto. Is there any way i can resize the image without constraining it (or cropping)

thanks.

btw - not sure if this belongs here or in software, but ill post here first.

Scale it down, save it, serve it.

I use ImageWell. It's free.

Here are some of it's features:
• Resize, Rotate, and Crop images easily
One click to send image or file to your iDisk, FTP or WebDAV server
• Drop Shadows and Watermarks
• Add 1 of 12 shapes for borders and drop shadows to your image
• Add talking balloons, thought clouds or labels
• Annotate your image with arrows, circles, squares or text
• Grab images directly from your screen or digital camera
• Automatically creates url or html tags of uploaded images
• Multiple server locations can be added and stored to your locations list
• URL History for pasting multiple images/links all at once
• PNG Support

So many extra programs listed - when iPhoto can scale images by itelf! TRhere are much more flexible and powerful options out there, but iPhoto can scale down photos for you with ease.

Click on the photo you want to scale in iPhoto, then go File > Export. Click the 'Scale Images no larger than', and pick a size (400x300 for example is small enough for the forum). Click export, which will then save a copy of the image for you, but scaled down. Feel free to then upload it somewhere on the net to put in your post.

When you exported it, it asked you to name it and save it in a location. Only you know where it is. If you didn't read the dialogue or pay attention, check in these places:
- Desktop
- Documents folder within your Home folder
- Photos folder within your Home folder

Well, normally you just place [ img ] and [ /img ] tags around the URL to the image (without the extra spaces), however I can't even get your image to load from that link you gave.
