I Just got a new desk, and as such i've had to clean up and toss a lot of pack-ratted junk (and a huge desk) ... now i'm looking at how i store clothes ... and I want an armoire. any shot you guys can recommend something? preferably sub 500. particle board, fiberboard, hardwood, i'm game for whatever. i prefer it to be good looking (hopefully somewhat modern ... not digging traditional styling.

i like in san francisco. preferably anything online, or something i can pick up in san francisco (ie levitts - ikea (didnt really see anything i liked online) or some store in the bay area in california.

any good idea's or any styling u guys into? post pics of cool looking armoire / dresser !

nah ... i figure apple users know a thing or two about style and design (powerbook, powermac, imac anyone?!?) so i was wondering what they thought about armoires. i've cleaned up my room and got a new desk n stuff and i figured it was time for a new thingy to store clothes.

i wanted macnn users's opinions of dressers/armoires ... that was it .. if i didnt sell my camera i'd take snap shots and stuff so you guy's would get what i mean .. i musta tossed half my belongings to clear it out n stuff .. and i figure i might as well make the whole room spic and span.

oh .. and i missed the french too!

a friend of mine has that one. a slight pain in the arse to set up (hey, it's ikea

wow ... ikea .. lots of ikea fans. i checked it out ... it's too big for my room ... i have enough space to replace my old chest thing ... which is looking like crap (because it was originally crap) ... anything that doesnt span a whole wall? those are cool though. i checked out ikea previously (online) there was only one or two that i liked ... hmm

thanks again for input. i'll be heading to ikea in person in a week or so.

But I don't think that you have Habitat in the US!?
(it's the exclusive/expensive version of IKEA)

wow .. that is sweet ... is it only half as wide as it looks (one half is really a sliding door? or is there something behind that door too?!?)

that is gorgeous, lots of space for stuff, and two places to hang shirts! wow .. what's the price .. i wonder if they ship to the united states

Can't find a price but if you want a closer look you have to click on the Habitat link I gave in the previous post and then navigate this way:

ahh ... i went to the "uk" store and did the same in english .. the price isnt bad .. it's 150 pounds ... that's two hundred something right? .. not too bad .. i dunno if i have space for it. i guess i could stick my computer desk where the curent dresser is now. and stick that atlas on the wall where my desk is currently... i wonder if they ship to the us .. guess i'll have to check ikea soon. and levitts .. and any other place with affordable and somewhat good looking furniture.

for some weird reason they don't show the prices on the german version...but this wardrobe is NOT 150 pounds if you want doors and stuff (like in my first picture) - it's 859 pounds!!
