Fantastic movie! Fantastic Director!
Check out the trailer of his upcoming movie izo: http://www.izo-movie.com/. It features Takeshi Kitano!
both my favorite Japanese movie heroes in one movie!

These people are Americans. Don't expect anything meaningful or... uh... normalcy...

I didn't say it was bad. I liked it (even though many would probably hate it). I just said it was bizarre and disturbing. Very odd, as in Japanese horror movie type of odd. (If you've ever seen Ringu you'll know what I mean by that, although the movie isn't really anything like Ringu otherwise.)
BTW, the movie starts out like a dark romantic comedy... so much so that I wondered if I misread the movie description. But then...

They have Audition at zip.ca? I'm surprised. In fact I'm surprised my local video store had it. I'll have to look through the store's foreign section some more.

Check either of Suspect's locations, they have lots of wacky stuff.

I live right up the street from Suspect Video. Thanks for the reminder.
I've been going to Queen Video, which is great too for hard to get stuff.
I got Audition from Hollywood Video though, which is more of your mainstream type of place. (I only go there because it's across the street from a grocery store.)

How's their Criterion selection, do you know? I started ripping all the out of print Criterion DVDs from Suspect, but haven't had much time to start that up again lately. All I need is a dual-layer burner...
