Do you mean the person that started the thread and whose thread was eventually locked or the person who caused the thread to get locked? The results would be very different. Ca$h would definitely be at the top of the list of those who have caused threads to get locked.

EDIT: word confusion

thats what i was thinking, and kind of sly, underhanded way of saying that a thread is worthless.

and then there are the +1s that lancer pulls all the time. three, four posts in a row, because he can't seem to figure out how to mesh it into all one post of nonsense.

It took me forever to realize HAND meant Have a Nice Day... I just thought it was some smart allac, non-sensical word that newsgrouper trolls were using.

actually, no, not really. If I had the choice i'd transfer my post count to a new name, I'm tired of macman4000. It used to be my email address until Gmail saved the day, and then I got a email account for work. Now i want my name to be KMurphy because my email address is that name at murphyscamera dot com.

Lancer, your post whoring is really annoying. Most of your stuff barely rates one comment in a thread, muchless multiple ones. There's a nice button called edit.

There is wayyyyy too much post whoring going on around here. There are a few people who just want to be *green* like its some exclusive club. Well, look around this forum, most of the intelligent or insightful posts are not by green posters, or are by green posters who have been around a while. Brevity is one thing, but when you're not adding anything to the discussion, or even bringing any entertainment value to the table, it becomes more noise to sort through, and its just annoying.

A lot of people go hard on certain posters that tend to post a lot, but superchicken for example, even though he posts a lot, he *usually* is trying to muster a point, or at least a coherent thought...set aside with ellipsis.

When goricky posts, usually he's just trying to be funny. Can't blame him for trying.

I realize that this is the lounge, and that people should be able to do whatever they blah blah blah

Seriously, send demonhood some money, maybe he can up your post count so you quit turning macnn into, as our toquer neighbors to the north call it, "grade 5" .

and wtf is up with starting a whole thread about one's thousandth post? how sad is that? I admit, I knew when I was posting my thousandth, but I didn't have to start a "Look at me, I'm *somebody on this internet* thread.

I'll quote one of the chris_ 's "Remember when macnn didn't suck?" I do remember that, and this is a major reason why it does now. This place used to hold interesting thoughts by interesting and entertaining people. Now its "I hate god/gays and I wanted to start a thread about it!"

I would like to point out that i don't do the +1 crap in threads that matter. this thread has no point and was derailed by the 4th or 5th post. I figured it would be locked by now. Sorry to everyone i offended. It wont happen again.

Thats why I kill every account before it hits 1000.

I agree. If the straightdope.com hadn't started the subscription thing I wouldn't even both here. They have intelligent discussions, very little stupdity, and some of the funniest posters.

I'd just like to say that most of you suck

Agreed. I think that anyone who does a +1 gets instantly ****ing banned. Post counts are STUPID, who cares how many posts you've made.
