I am conducting some academic research on the AIDS crisis, particularly of the crisis in Africa. Part of my research is a small survey of people's current knowledge and perceptions of the crisis. Just a short 6 question straightforward survey. Your personal responses will remain anonymous in the research; I am just polling some information. Please feel free to participate or not. If for some reason you would like to participate, but do not feel comfortable posting your answers publicly, you can PM me with them.

3. How severe do you currently think the AIDS crisis is?
   (score 1 to 10; 1=not severe; 10=extrememly severe)
   
4. How much do you know about the AIDS crisis?
   (score 1 to 10; 1=I know nothing; 10=I'm an expert)
   
5. How passionate are you about the AIDS crisis?
   (score 1 to 10; 1=I could care less; 10=something must be done NOW!)
   
6. How much involvement should our (your) government have (in helping)?
   (score 1 to 10; 1=no involvement; 10=It should be a top priority)
   
7. Do you know what action you can take personally (to help)?
   (Yes/No… If Yes, please state or list the actions you know you can take)
