Good job. I'm getting an iTalk as well, I'm going to record all my class lectures and make the available on my website for fellow students. Looks like the 60 GB iPod that been long rumored is coming out pretty soon.

A comparable featured 4G 20 GB iPod would be $ 416, with 10GB less space. The extra battery life and variable ACC speed for audio books was not worth the extra bucks to me...

People do get kicked out for sharing notes in some classes. It depends on the class and the professor. Most should be ok with it though.

In Germany, there's a law that you are not allowed to record lessons audibly or visually without permission - no matter if you are at school or at university.
