Hi all, I need to get some advice on phone models to investigate.

My wife wants a new phone for her birthday, and has these specifications.

Good reception (currently using a siemens s40 which isn't that great) This is her primary concern.
Bluetooth, but must work with a macintosh, so motorola v600 is out.
worldwide gsm, as she works in europe and the us occasionally, and we live in Brunei.
clamshell, this is her preference as she can drop it into her handbag without worrying about scratches etc. but she'd take a candybar style if it meant getting all the features.
Would like to be able to use it as a bluetooth modem so her powerbook can get email etc if she's away from wifi/landline service.
Needs to be available in Singapore or Australia.

Not too fussed about it having a camera, but that might be nice. Doesn't need much in the way of PDA type stuff, just keep all the contacts synced via bluetooth.

Be grateful for any advice you can offer and phone models to check out.

Thanks,

J.

Nokia 6600. Can get for about S$500 these days. It feature packed with Series 60 firmware but still easy to use. I have one and so does my g/f. I'm more of a power user than she is, but she likes that it can drop easily enough in her purse.
The other popular phone in Singapore worth considering for her is the SE T600.
